Eurovision Song Contest Basel 2025

With the Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe to the Eurovision Song Contest

When 37 countries compete for victory at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in May, Basel will become the musical centre of Europe. Between 12th and 17th May 2025, we will take you directly to the venues of the ESC 2025 around the clock – and back again!

Easy journey to the ESC

We have planned a total of 1150 additional journeys (700 additional tram journeys and 450 additional bus journeys) so that ESC fans and all our passengers can get safe and sound from A to B during the ESC week.

Please note: ESC spectators must be in their seats at least 30 minutes before the start of the show!

Please allow sufficient travelling time!

You can find all the important information for your journey in the online timetable and here.

24/7

During the ESC week, our trams and buses are on the move around the clock every day. This means you can get to every ESC event comfortably, safely and reliably – even late at night or early in the morning. For example, the trams between Badischer Bahnhof and Bahnhof SBB run at least every quarter of an hour throughout the night.

ESC Nightlines

From 12th to 17th May 2025, our passengers and all ESC fans will benefit from a specially adapted night-time service: various tram- and bus-lines will also run regularly between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. every day. This way, all night owls and ESC party animals can get to their favourite event and back home again.
